Chan Harra, a woman, held the position of Imperial trainee at the Arkanis Academy. With her towering height and fair complexion, she desired to be a member of the academy's clandestine cadet organization, the Commandant's Cadets, although she was never asked to join. Harra was among the initial cadets that Zare Leonis encountered at the academy, where he had secretly gained entry to save his sibling. He was unfamiliar with her planet of origin. Leonis later participated in a training exercise alongside her, as well as Xan Lanier, Tigard Manes, and Anya Razar. Razar characterized Harra as dependable, a "rock" that Leonis could count on.
