Chess

Chess evolved from a strategic board game known as Shah-tezh, which existed long before the year 20 BBY. Because of this heritage, chess had fundamental similarities to other forms of Shah-tezh, for example dejarik and moebius. The Sith Lord Darth Sidious made reference to chess while speaking with Gallius Rax, one of his followers.
