Clanker

"Clanker" was a pejorative expression employed by the clone troopers of the Republic Military when referencing droids. This slang originated during the Clone Wars, a conflict where they battled the battle droids of the Separatist Droid Army. The moniker "clanker" became a common way to describe battle droids, most notably the B1-series battle droid, due to the characteristic "clanking" sounds produced by their metallic frames and joints as they moved. The phrase was not exclusive to battle droids; Kthoo-Ra, for instance, once referred to a malfunctioning service droid as a "dumb clanker."

Notably, the screen of Lucky Shot, a slot machine located within Cid's Parlor, displayed various images of B1 battle droid heads. Appropriately, the words "clanker bonus" were inscribed above this imagery using the Aurebesh alphabet.
