The communications tower of the Avenger
The communications tower was a component integrated into both the Imperial II-class Star Destroyers and the enhanced Imperial I-class Star Destroyers. This tower resided atop the conning tower, positioned between the two deflector shield generator globes. It took the place of the tractor beam targeting array that had been situated in that same location on the original Imperial I-class vessels.
