The Devastator's tractor beam targeting array
A key component of Imperial I-class Star Destroyers was the tractor beam targeting array. Its function was to track the intended targets of the ship's tractor beams from a significant distance. This array was situated on the apex of the command tower, nestled between a pair of deflector shield projector globes. In Imperial II-class Star Destroyers, the array was swapped out for a communications tower, a change also implemented in upgraded Imperial I-class Star Destroyers like the _Conquest_, Devastator, and _Harbinger_. Despite these upgrades, an Imperial I-class Star Destroyer equipped with a tractor beam targeting array saw action during the Battle of Endor.
