Connor Freeman entered the world in 22 BBY as a Human male, the offspring of a clone deserter and his wife. During his early years, Freeman's father met his end, killed by the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett on Atzerri. Before his own demise at the Battle of Geonosis, Fett arranged an inheritance for Freeman. Two decades later, Freeman tapped into this fund and subsequently triumphed in a sabacc game against the crime lord Tayand, leading the crime boss to place a bounty on Freeman's head. Eventually, he was apprehended by Jango Fett's son, Boba, who also worked as a bounty hunter. After Freeman was handed over to Tayand at his base on Cilare, Fett eliminated the crime lord, thus freeing Freeman from the debt imposed by Tayand.
Born on the planet Atzerri in 22 BBY, Connor Freeman, a Human male, was the son of a clone soldier who had deserted from the Kamino facilities and his wife. Eventually, Jango Fett, the Mandalorian bounty hunter from whom Freeman's father was cloned, located and killed the clone in his family's Atzerri residence on behalf of the Sith Lord Count Dooku. Following the clone's death, Freeman and his mother encountered Fett. During a conversation between Fett and the clone's wife, the young child mistook Fett for his father. Subsequently, the Mandalorian departed the planet with his son Boba. Before Fett's death in the opening battle of the Clone Wars, the Mandalorian established an inheritance fund for Freeman.
Two decades later, during the time of the Galactic Empire, Freeman withdrew all the funds from his inheritance and engaged in a sabacc game against the crime lord Tayand. His victory angered the crime lord, who accused Freeman of cheating. Freeman escaped Tayand's enforcers, who opened blaster fire. After Freeman's escape, Tayand placed a bounty on him, claiming Freeman owed him five hundred thousand credits. Eventually, a Gand bounty hunter located Freeman in a cantina owned by the Besalisk Quinny. Quinny provided Freeman with a blaster, which he used to kill the Gand. While removing the Gand's corpse from the cantina, he was attacked by other mercenaries from the League of Bounty Hunters. After evading them, Boba Fett, now a Mandalorian bounty hunter like his father, eventually captured him, knocking him into unconsciousness.
Upon awakening, he found Fett and ten bounty hunters arguing over who would claim the bounty, and he mocked the mercenaries associated with the League of Bounty Hunters. Bossk, the leader of the organization, intervened and allowed Fett to kill the other bounty hunters. Freeman escaped as Fett disabled the other bounty hunters. However, Fett, using his jetpack, caught Freeman and incapacitated him with concentrated deeb aerosol. Freeman later awoke aboard Fett's ship, the Slave I, at a refueling station. He remarked on Fett's resemblance to his father, leading Fett to suggest they were biological brothers. Freeman insulted Fett by calling his father scum, prompting Fett to reveal his involvement in killing Freeman's father. Freeman attacked Fett, causing them to fall off the ship. As they fought, a ship commanded by Daquinn and the Whiphid Yarttar—who had survived the earlier encounter with Fett—destroyed the refueling station, incapacitating both Fett and Freeman. The two bounty hunters captured Freeman and took him to Cilare, Tayand's base.
As he disembarked Tayand's and Yarttar's ship, Freeman argued with them and killed the Whiphid with his own blaster. As he prepared to attack Daquinn, Boba Fett—whom Daquinn believed was dead—arrived with his jetpack and recaptured Freeman. After reaching Tayand's base, Freeman explained the bounty's origin. During a meeting with Tayand, Daquinn interrupted as the crime lord was about to pay Fett. After Tayand refused to pay Daquinn, Fett offered to pay the five hundred thousand credits that the crime lord claimed Freeman owed. Tayand refused, and Freeman offered Fett three credits to kill Tayand. Fett accepted and killed the crime lord, leading Tayand's employees to attack. During the ensuing battle, Fett freed Tayand's rancor, which attacked Tayand's men. Freeman pushed Fett aside to prevent Daquinn from shooting the Mandalorian, and was shot in his left shoulder. Fett disabled Daquinn, placed his jetpack on him, and waited for the rancor's head to appear in front of the room's opening. After Fett launched Daquinn into the rancor's mouth, the beast was killed, and Freeman paid Fett the three credits he had offered for Tayand's death. After collecting some of Tayand's treasure, Freeman and Fett, who took a tooth from the dead rancor, parted ways.
Connor used the money from Tayand's base to buy a bar on Atzerri, which he operated with Quinny. He saw a HoloNet report on Boba Fett's supposed death, prompting him to give every patron a free drink for a toast.
Weeks later, Connor saw another HoloNet report naming him as a suspect in the murders of Fett's killers. A stormtrooper burst into the bar and dragged him into the street as Connor protested his innocence. However, the stormtrooper knocked Connor unconscious as a warship attacked the bar, destroying it. Connor awoke in a bacta tank in Cornelius Evazan's lab, discovering his arm had been replaced by a cybernetic one. On his ship, the stormtrooper revealed himself to be Boba Fett, alive and well. Fett explained how he survived the assassination attempt and used Connor's identity to track down and kill several of his assailants in an effort to discover who sent them, and that Quinney was okay. He then left Connor on Concord Dawn to find and protect Sintas Vel as Fett continued his search.

After bribing a local bartender with the credits Fett left him, Connor located Vel's home. He found a young Ailyn Vel at the door, and Sintas confronted him about his intentions. Before he could answer, a Devaronian strike team in a landspeeder attacked, and Connor proved his good intentions by helping them dispatch them. Relocating to an armored safehouse, Connor explained his story to Ailyn as a bedtime story. After putting her to bed, Sintas told him how much he reminded her of Fett, and kissed him. Later, Connor discovered a family holo, realizing he had kissed his brother's wife. Sintas explained to an upset Connor about Fett's time as a Journeyman Protector and the end of their marriage after Fett's exile. She kissed him again, and Ailyn teased them. The safehouse door blew open, and Connor deflected it with his cybernetic arm.
As Governor Purton revealed himself as the man trying to kill Fett and his family, Connor and the Vels took cover from his grenades in the storage basement. Sintas gave him a set of yellow Mandalorian armor. Purton followed with a strike team, and they forced the governor into the basement. After killing his guards, Purton explained he wanted revenge for Fett killing his son, Lenovar, prompting Sintas to reveal that Fett had killed Lenovar because he had raped her, which Fett didn't reveal during the trial to protect her. Disbelieving her, Purton attempted to strangle her, forcing Connor to shoot and kill him. Sintas kissed Connor goodbye, explaining that Fett or anyone like him brought her trouble. Leaving, Connor found Fett waiting, having dispatched Purton's rear guard. Walking back to the Slave 1, Connor handed Fett Purton's tooth - to go with the rancor's tooth - and they mused about Ailyn's resemblance to him.

Connor Freeman, a Human male, gambled his inheritance, believing it was his father's legacy, to increase it. When pursued by mercenaries from the League of Bounty Hunters, he repeatedly insulted them. Freeman was surprised when Fett offered to pay Tayand's debt. As the son of one of Jango Fett's clones, he believed his blaster skills were innate. Despite a rocky relationship, he and Fett became close, considering each other half-brothers, and Freeman was one of the few people Fett cared about.
Tom Taylor created Connor Freeman for the Star Wars: Blood Ties comic series, debuting him in the second issue. Chris Scalf drew Freeman in all his appearances.
