Sometime in the period spanning from 19 to 15 BBY, the protocol droid known as C-3PO utilized the vacant husk of a guardian droid as a disguise, with the intent to quell the activities of the Fromm Gang while they were present on Lonn Idd's repair station. This deception was successful, as Fromm was fooled and requested that Lonn Idd's offspring, Nikki Idd, surrender the droid's control disk; however, she responded by spraying his face with Nova Starlight perfume.
