The CorSec Outpost, situated in the Corellian system close to Corellia, functioned as a space station managed by the Corellian Security Force.
Merchants from the Miners Alliance who were present on the station, procured asteroid materials from independent space miners.
Within the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies, the CorSec Outpost exists as a space station within the Corellian system. The second expansion for the game, Rage of the Wookiees, introduced the capability to mine asteroids for different resources. To facilitate resource sales for credits, the game developers also implemented Mining Stations across the majority of star systems in the game. Nevertheless, only a small number of players choose to sell asteroid resources at these stations, as other players offer substantially better prices.
It's impossible to go inside the station, and communicating with it only provides the option to trade asteroid resources.
