Cortosis mine (Dinzo)

The clandestine cortosis mine, operated by the Galactic Empire, was situated on the planet Dinzo, found within the Mid Rim region. During the early rebellion period, Tonk, a guerrilla combatant, along with his crew, detonated this mine. This act was performed in opposition to the counsel of Rebel operative Hera Syndulla, who believed that the unprocessed cortosis material held potential value for her objectives.
