Publisher's summary

In a brand-new Star Wars story, Han Solo, Leia Organa Solo, and Luke Skywalker make their return, facing trials unlike any they've encountered before—ones that will reshape their understanding of existence and the Force forever.

When Han and Leia Solo journey to Lando Calrissian’s mining venture in the Outer Rim to assist him in preventing a hostile takeover, their sole intention is to level the playing field and enforce order. However, the arrival of monstrous aliens bearing a message transforms mere threats into acts of intense sabotage resulting in significant loss of life. After the chaos subsides, what initially appeared as a corporate dispute evolves into a conflict with far greater implications—and infinitely more deadly repercussions.

Han, Leia, and Luke reunite once more in an effort aimed at thwarting a perilous foe determined to achieve domination across the galaxy. However, this time, the Empire is not the adversary. Instead, it is a duo of merciless masterminds, accompanied by a deadly accomplice, who harbor a lifelong grudge against Han Solo. And when this murderous pair catches Han off guard, he is left severely disadvantaged in the most critical battle of his life. To rescue him, and the galaxy, Luke and Leia must navigate a treacherous landscape filled with deceit, acts of terrorism, and the immeasurable power of a mysterious artifact capable of warping space, time, and even the Force itself into a catastrophic nightmare.
