Troy Denning

Troy Denning, who also goes by the name Richard Awlinson, is a former designer of games and a writer who is well known for his many Star Wars books. He is the author of more than twenty novels, one of which, Waterdeep, became a New York Times bestseller. The majority of his published works are fictional stories that take place in the Dungeons and Dragons worlds of Dark Sun and Forgotten Realms.

Denning sometimes posts under his real name on the official Star Wars forums, and uses the name TailOne on theforce.net forums.

Before The Walt Disney Company acquired Lucasfilm Ltd., Denning was working on a different series of three novels.
