A unique crystal forest came into being on the Forest Moon of Endor during 3 ABY. This event occurred when Gracca, a sentient being, utilized the magical abilities of his Crystal Cloak to sow a number of crystal seeds upon the Floating Mountain. As a result, numerous crystal spires sprouted up from the earth surrounding the Ewoks Wicket Wystri Warrick and Latara, who had journeyed to the mountain with the intention of retrieving the crystal cloak. In the ensuing skirmish, Gracca accidentally collided with one of the newly formed spires, leading to the collapse of many of them and his subsequent entrapment within their crystalline structure.
