Dael Levare, originating from one of Corellia's most affluent families, lived during the initial years of the Galactic Empire. He was a Net-ball player, and at one point, he was betrothed to Bria Tharen. For several years, Tharen's mother had been trying to get them to marry, but Bria ended her relationship with Dael after discovering his infidelity. The wedding was then cancelled, much to the displeasure of Sera Tharen.
Subsequently, upon Bria's return to Corellia alongside Han Solo, Levare identified Han, referring to him as Tallus Bryne, a false name Solo had previously used during a scam, which compelled the pair to depart Corellia. Levare had also been an avid fan, having witnessed Han's victory in the Corellian swoop championship. During this period, Dael Levare was involved in a new romantic relationship with Sulen Belos.
