The Dakshee affair refers to an event that transpired on the planet of Dakshee during the time of the Imperial Era.
Sometime in the period spanning from 15 BBY to 1 ABY, Gerald Weizel, who held the position of governor of Dakshee, uncovered the fact that several leaders of union organizations on the planet were, in fact, the chief organizers of the terrorist organization known as the Justice Action Network. Weizel successfully managed this situation without any bloodshed.
Because of Governor Weizel's handling of both the Dakshee affair and the Brella Temior crisis, he became known for his ability to manage difficult planets. This reputation ultimately resulted in his appointment as the new governor of Chandrila in 1 ABY.
