The Justice Action Network, alternatively known as the Justice Action League or simply JAN, was an Alderaanian terrorist organization. It was established following the conclusion of the Clone Wars by Earnst Kamiel along with the parents of Jan Ors (who named the organization in honor of their daughter).
In opposition to the official policy of pacifism and appeasement that Bail Prestor Organa, the planetary leader of Alderaan, had chosen, JAN employed criminal activities as a means to resist the Galactic Empire. Subsequently, many of its surviving members became part of the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
Kelsek, the Rodian leader within JAN, utilized a camp situated on Mrlsst within the Tapani sector. This camp served as a training ground for a new strike team before they were to attack an Imperial Torpedo Sphere docked at Tallaan.
To disseminate their ideology concerning an armed revolution against the Empire across the galaxywide region, JAN utilized virastack newsfiles. These files were infamous for their unexpected appearances during military training tapes, holoshows, swoop racing digests, and various other forms of holo-broadcasts.
During 2 ABY, the group engaged in sabotage and destruction, targeting a luxurious starliner as it approached Cadomai.
