The Damask clan was a noteworthy family from Muunilinst and belonged to the Muun species. This family, the Damasks, had strong ties to both the InterGalactic Banking Clan and Damask Holdings during the final centuries of the Galactic Republic.
The first known Damask family member was Hego, who was the clan father to Caar Damask. Caar held a long-term position within the Banking Clan. He became the administrator of Mygeeto and its crystal mines sometime during the 9th century of the Great Peace of the Republic era, both as a favor for High Officer Mals Tonith and in hopes of moving his stagnant middle-management career forward. Ten years after arriving on Mygeeto, Damask was tricked into meeting his future codicil wife by Darth Tenebrous, a Sith Lord also known as Rugess Nome of the Bith species. Tenebrous knew their child would be very strong in the Force. Tenebrous was right; their son, who would become the Dark Lord Hego Damask and was named after his grandfather, was born on Mygeeto. When Hego reached the age of five, he was given to Nome, who took him on as his apprentice and renamed him Darth Plagueis.
Later, Hego established a plasma mining business called Damask Holdings, which the Sith Lord utilized to promote the Sith imperative.
Plagueis asserted in 65 BBY that he had eliminated all of his relatives, making him the only inheritor of the Damask wealth.
The Damask family seemingly met its end in 32 BBY when Darth Sidious, Plagueis's apprentice, murdered his master inside his apartment.
