The stronghold suffered destruction in 33 BBY from a nuclear strike. This attack was commanded by Naboo's King, Ars Veruna, yet Darth Sidious orchestrated it covertly with the aim of getting rid of his Sith Master. Plagueis narrowly evaded the bombardment, and Jabba Desilijic Tiure rescued him aboard the Hutt's vessel, the Star Jewel.
