Damind Damind, sourced exclusively from the planet Daminia, represented a specific class of lightsaber crystal utilized by the Sith when constructing their lightsabers. In its raw, unrefined state, this crystal was referred to as damindium.

Within a lightsaber's internal crystal housing, the presence of damind resulted in a blade that was both broader and more extended compared to the typical lightsaber, thus improving its capacity to block incoming blaster projectiles.
