The world of Dargul, a planet known for its indulged aristocratic class, resided in the Darglum system found within the Mid Rim region.
Dargul existed as the sibling planet to Umgul, the planet famous for blob-racing events. Palace Dargul, the home of the Duchess named Mistal, was situated there. Upon the Duchess achieving a marriageable age, she announced her search for a partner, and a contender called Dack manipulated the Palace's computer systems to select him as the victorious suitor. Finding himself unable to endure the Duchess' presence any longer, he escaped to Umgul because on Dargul, lifelong partnerships were the norm. Lando Calrissian apprehended him. For the return of her partner, Calrissian received a reward of one million credits from the Duchess.
