Darth Krayt's throne room was located within the tower, which previously served as the location of the Council of First Knowledge. After Darth Krayt eliminated the Temple Pyramids, the Tower of First Knowledge became visible. He converted the Tower into his own private section of the Temple, eradicating any remnants of its prior Jedi associations. The Embrace of Pain chamber, where Cade Skywalker experienced torture within the Embrace, was located underneath the throne room.
