The personal journals of Darth Rivan consisted of two books filled with the writings of the Sith Lord known as Darth Rivan. These journals were eventually found deep within Rivan's fortress situated on the planet called Almas. During the period of the Clone Wars, a group of Jedi researchers retrieved these books from the fortress. Subsequently, the researchers gave these tomes to the Jedi Council, which served as the governing body for the Jedi Order. A portion of the journals, specifically the section detailing Rivan's reflections on the Darkstaff, a potent Sith artifact, was then disseminated via the HoloNet.
