Even with the memories of Revenge of the Sith still lingering, Darth Vader is compelled to temporarily disregard his personal history and future prospects. His new objective: a mission to the enigmatic Ghost Nebula, tasked with finding – and potentially saving – a lost Imperial exploration team.
However, this assignment, which initially appears as a welcome distraction, is made more intricate by a couple of elements. Firstly, he finds himself partnered with a strong-willed, but highly skilled, co-commander. Secondly, the officer they are dispatched to locate happens to be the offspring of Moff Tarkin, Vader's increasingly prominent adversary.
