Dat-an functioned as the language spoken by the Annoo-dat Prime. Following their departure from their homeworld of Annoo and subsequent conquest of Gelefil, the planet's other residents, the Annoo-dat Blue, also began using it, mostly phasing out Tra'ang'a.
