Furthermore, a data plaque played a key role in the discussions between the Rebel Alliance and the Aquaris Freeholders, during which Kraaken attempted to pilfer the data plaque for the Galactic Empire. Nevertheless, Leia intentionally revealed the plaque's presence to expose him as a double agent. Leia also altered the data plaque by adding a micro-proton charge, remotely activated, to ensure that Kraaken would be eliminated before he could transmit the crucial information to the Empire if he managed to flee.
