Dath was a young Twi'lek male residing on Ryloth throughout the Clone Wars period. His existence began under the oppressive conditions of slavery, a circumstance from which he was liberated soon after reaching the age of four on his birthday. His rescuer was the banished Jedi Master Vhiin Thorla. Thorla took Dath away, extending an invitation to join The Enclave, a sanctuary she established for individuals previously enslaved. Having no alternative, Dath gratefully accepted this offer. Within The Enclave's walls, Dath encountered other Twi'lek children, all rescued from slavery by Master Thorla, and he developed a strong bond of friendship with both Tror and Meeva.
