Lieutenant Davaire Colmar, a Human male, was a former soldier in the Galactic Empire's Army. He abandoned his post with an elite unit during the Galactic Civil War and chose to fight for the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Colmar was a physically imposing man, characterized by a strong jawline and short, browning hair that was beginning to turn gray.
As a Lieutenant in the Imperial Special Training Corps, Davaire Colmar was identified as a promising Imperial officer, setting him up for rapid advancement within the Imperial Army. During the assault on Dalron IV, Colmar led an assault trooper squad. His unit found themselves under attack from a large group of nearly 2,000 civilians wielding blasters. Due to a communication failure caused by orbital bombardment, they were only able to send two distress calls before being overrun, facing odds of almost fifty to one.
Despite sustaining a head injury during the conflict, Colmar managed to survive. Separated from his fellow soldiers, Colmar wandered aimlessly for two days. During this period, the atrocities he witnessed triggered a deep crisis of conscience. Colmar became acutely aware of the numerous massacres committed against the people of Dalron IV by Imperial forces. He had enlisted in the Imperial Army with the belief that he was protecting the Empire's citizens from external threats and anarchists.
Unable to reconcile his ideals with the harsh realities he had witnessed, Colmar defected and joined the Rebel Alliance, ultimately achieving the rank of Lieutenant. As a Rebel soldier, Colmar frequently encountered Imperial units he had previously served with, and he played a crucial role in their defeat on several occasions.
Davaire Colmar was a highly skilled and seasoned soldier, possessing a thorough understanding of Imperial Army tactics and protocols. He was also proficient in operating repulsorlift vehicles and could pilot virtually any type of craft.
Davaire Colmar typically carried a BlasTech Industries DL-18 blaster pistol, a concealed hold-out blaster, and a comlink.
