David Tomblin


Carrie Fisher and David Tomblin David Tomblin, who was born on October 18, 1930, and passed away on July 20, 2005, served as the first assistant director for both Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi (1983). Furthermore, in 1982, while Return of the Jedi was being filmed, he both wrote and directed the short film Return of the Ewok featuring Warwick Davis. In this short, he provided the voices of Darth Vader and Boba Fett, taking over from actor Jeremy Bulloch.
