Davik Kang wearing his personal war suit. The Tarisian crime lord Davik Kang, head of the Exchange, possessed a custom-made suit of medium armor, colored purple, known as Davik's war suit. Kang, never one to skimp on personal security, had this armor crafted to provide substantial defense against both blaster attacks and simple melee weaponry. Many an unfortunate bounty hunter or assassin made the mistake of underestimating it, a misjudgment that typically led to their death when confronting the crime boss. Despite its protective qualities, it proved ineffective when Davik encountered Revan and their allies, as the Sith fleet's warships bombarded Taris from orbit, reducing the planet to ruins. While providing insulation against extreme temperatures, the suit diminished the Force abilities of any Force-sensitives who might wear it.
