The Dawn Temple was a secluded refuge erected by the Jedi Order on a plateau of Mount Tellec, which is located on the planet of Spintir.

The purpose of the Dawn Temple was to serve as a place of spiritual renewal for Jedi who had strayed from their path, allowing them to reconnect to the light side of the Force. Its construction occurred due to an increased need to house Jedi on Spintir, and it gained the name "Dawn Temple" reflecting the hope that those treated there would find their way back to the light. During the Clone Wars, numerous Jedi found sanctuary at the temple, with some of the most corrupted requiring containment in stasis fields. The last caretaker, having survived the initial stages of the Great Jedi Purge, met his end while traveling to the city of Reles to gather essential provisions. As a result, the temple fell into decay, and the fallen Jedi known as Rav Naaran remained in stasis.
Rather than a large staff, the temple relied on three distinct intelligences housed within holocrons: the Curator, the Jailor, and the Warden. The Curator manifested as an elderly Cerean male with a silvery-blue hue, clad in simple Jedi robes. His role encompassed the daily operational management of the temple, including the maintenance of its records and archives. The Warden, appearing as a female Zabrak composed of golden light, was responsible for the temple's defense, both internal and external. She also possessed combat training programs and knowledge of lightsaber construction. Her appearance included a topknot rising from a crown of horns and armored Jedi robes, along with a lightsaber. The Jailor, a being of pure white light, took the form of a short, elderly male Miraluka. He was tasked with overseeing the rehabilitation of fallen Jedi and held the authority to override the commands of the other two intelligences.

The Dawn Temple makes an appearance in the Star Wars: Force and Destiny roleplaying game line by Fantasy Flight Games. The player's confrontation with Naaran can lead to his demise, re-capture, or escape; regardless, the Temple itself endures.
