Dazer

The explosive weapon known as the dazer was created by Chief Healer Cilghal. It was designed as part of a collection of tools for use against the Killik hives within the Colony. Upon its detonation, the dazer emitted a radiant burst of light and other sensory interference. This overload effectively dulled a Killik's aura, severing its connection and communication abilities with the broader hive mind. A number of Jedi noted that the explosion of a dazer released an odor reminiscent of newly harvested pallies.
