Delassin VI
Delassin VI, a planet situated in the Calaron sector of the Outer Rim Territories, possessed oceans across its surface. On the Diniz and Zehr Seas of this world, rudimentary seagoing [vessels](/article/boat/legends] navigated its waters. The Vodran named Xenon Nnaksta toiled as a longshoreman at the wharves attending to the sea vessels of Delassin VI around 22 BBY. He relished handling cargo there until his career propelled him away from that world.
Description
Located within the Delassin system, which is a part of the Calaron sector found within the Slice region of the Outer Rim Territories, Delassin VI was a terrestrial planet. As the sixth orbital body in its star system, the world contained several oceans including the Diniz and Zehr Seas.
History

Sometime before 22 BBY, the orphaned Vodran known as Xenon Nnaksta managed to leave his homeworld, the Hutt Space planet of Vodran. Rejecting the established norms of Vodran society, he journeyed to Delassin VI. Once there, the Vodran secured employment as a longshoreman on the docks of the Diniz and Zehr Seas. He found enjoyment in both the camaraderie of his fellow workers and the work itself, which involved loading and unloading cargo that frequently included contraband. Eventually, Nnaksta was directly recruited by the affluent entrepreneur Meysen Kayson to work as a stockroom employee for one of Kayson's retail stores specializing in outdoor equipment. Ultimately, the Vodran's professional journey led him to depart from the planet once more.
Inhabitants
Basic seagoing vessels were in use on the Diniz and Zehr Seas of Delassin VI. Dock workers, including Humans, Wookiees, labor droids, and other species, provided services to these vessels.
Behind the scenes
The initial mention of Delassin Six occurred in "The Greel Wood Haven," an article for roleplaying written by Craig Robert Carey. This article was featured in the May 1995 sixth issue of the Star Wars Adventure Journal magazine for usage with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games. The name "Delassin VI" for the planet was introduced in 2008 by The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia. In 2009, the reference book The Essential Atlas specified that the Delassin system, and therefore Delassin VI, was located in grid square T-9.
