Deminol

Deminol, a terrestrial world, existed within the Deminol system located in the Juvex sector. This sector was situated within the Senex-Juvex region, which itself was a part of the Western Reaches of the Mid Rim. The Senex-Juvex Loop hyperlane provided a connection to both the Anstares and Ossiathora systems.

This planet, Deminol, functioned as a vibrant spaceport, ranking among the most active within the Juvex sector. Similar to other worlds in the Senex-Juvex region, it was governed by the aristocratic Ancient Houses of the area. Deminol was home to several universities that drew students representing all of the Senex-Juvex Houses.

During the reign of the Galactic Empire, a biologist residing on Deminol tasked Fendel Ramison with acquiring a single egg belonging to the tresher, an avian species native to the planet Tinallis, and transporting it to her. Ramison's endeavor ultimately failed, leading to his arrest by Tinallis authorities for violating the planet's conservation laws. In his formal statement, Ramison implicated the Deminol-based biologist.

Behind the scenes

The first mention of Deminol occurred in "The Ride Of A Lifetime," a brief supplemental story written by Rick D. Stuart. This story was featured in the 1994 sourcebook titled Creatures of the Galaxy, which was published by West End Games for the Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. The reference book The Essential Atlas, released in 2009, located the world within grid square L-17.
