Unsuspecting individuals would quickly become the unfortunate target of this plant's hunger.
In 32 BBY, the bush's effective camouflage allowed it to ambush and consume the Dug mercenary Khiss. Before Khiss could even react, the bush devoured him in Gardulla's pleasure garden, located inside her palace on Tatooine, close to the Dune Sea.
