Gardulla's pleasure garden was situated within the Hutt's fortress located on the planet of Tatooine.
The garden existed as an underground space, and it was populated by many different species of flesh-eating plants and dangerous animals (whose soils were even capable of swallowing victims whole). Among these were Deneba bushes, vesuvague trees, glurpfish, swamp slugs, quickclay, cucul, worrts, temptors, urchins, syren plants, and birds known as Eye-snatchers from the Ottega system.
By 32 BBY, Gardulla was in negotiations to add even more ferocious predatory beasts to the garden's inhabitants in the future. These savage plants and animals were intended to feed on the life-force of both captives and innocent beings: such as the delicate Wisties of Endor or the Ghostlings from Datar.
The presence of such twisted entertainment aligned with Gardulla's insatiable desire to witness the agony and suffering of countless alien victims from numerous worlds. This was especially true for those unsuspecting creatures, chosen and forced by her cruel will to enter the garden after its completion. They would be compelled to visit a deadly arena that appeared deceptively peaceful at first glance, masked by nature, but in reality, it was a venture designed solely for the 'pleasure' of its audience, as nature revealed its predatory side at the Hutt's command.
The construction of the garden was undertaken by Ho'Din gardeners, among them Oo Wen.
