The Dentaal Independence Party, also known as DIP, came into existence following the Galactic Empire's subjugation of the world named Dentaal. Subsequent to Governor Taliff's dissolution of the Dentaalian House, its previous representatives convened and, guided by Hancc Rellow, established the DIP. Subsequently, the DIP deposed Taliff from his position; nevertheless, the Empire retaliated by tasking Crix Madine with introducing the Candorian plague to the planet.
