Destruction of the Dulok Swamp

Around the time of 4 ABY, the forces of the Galactic Empire launched an invasion of the Dulok Swamp found on the moon of Endor, resulting in its destruction. The Empire's objective was to find a suitable location to construct a shield generator bunker, which would safeguard their Death Star II battle station that was positioned in orbit around the moon. The Duloks, a tribe headed by King Gorneesh, were unable to defend themselves against the superior weaponry of the invaders, and they also faced a subterranean creature, the Griagh, which was roused from its slumber by the disturbance. Following their triumph, the Imperial forces subjected the Duloks to slavery.
