Devil's Doorknob

The perilous Boonta Eve Classic race featured a challenging section known as the Devil's Doorknob, positioned at the termination point of The Corkscrew. This area was notoriously difficult, resulting in numerous fatalities within its confines. Racers had to maneuver their Podracers by tilting them sideways, reducing their width to successfully navigate the extremely tight passage. This tilting action of the Podracers is the origin of the location's moniker. Functionally, it served as the gateway that separated The Corkscrew from the expansive Hutt Flats.
