Yevetha with extended dew claws A defining characteristic of the Yevethan species was the dew claw: a curved, retractable claw situated on the underside of their wrists. In situations such as close-quarters combat or displays of dominance killing, these claws could be extended to reach nearly a foot long.
In contrast to all other depictions and descriptions of dew claws, the Alien Anthology presented them differently. Instead of a single claw emerging from beneath the wrist, they were shown as a pair of blades extending from each side of the wrist. Refer to this image for a visual representation.
