The DF.12 Com Turret, alternatively called a Resistance Turret, functioned as a dependable initial defensive structure for ground-based operations. These turrets were deployed at Resistance camps and provisional airstrips. A specific instance of this turret type was situated at the Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu, located within the Resistance's established area near the ancient ruins.
This turret was initially showcased as an element within the architectural model of the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge themed land. It currently marks the beginning of the waiting line for the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance ride.
