DL-X2, a security droid belonging to the DL-series manufactured by Veril Line Systems, served the Star Tours travel company. Its operational post was located in Sector 2 within the Tomorrowland Starport.
The droid DL-X2 originated as a creation for the Star Tours attraction at Disneyland, California. It was adapted from a prop originally conceived by Imagineers for the robot TK4600, featured in the NBC police procedural show, Hill Street Blues. Hasbro later produced an exclusive Star Tours action figure of DL-X2.
