Dominic Monaghan

Dominic Bernard Patrick Luke Monaghan, an English actor born on December 8, 1976, played Beaumont Kin in the 2019 movie, Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker](/article/star_wars:_episode_ix_the_rise_of_skywalker). He is also known for his roles such as Merry, the Hobbit, within the The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Charlie Pace in the drama series Lost, the Mutant Chris Bradley in the superhero film X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and as the host of the nature program Wild Things with Dominic Monaghan.

Monaghan shared in a ComicBook.com Distraction Pieces podcast interview that his role in Episode IX is small, stating he would only be in the film's opening act and perhaps briefly later. He has been a Star Wars enthusiast since his childhood.
