Don Francks, a Canadian actor, was born on February 28, 1932 and passed away on April 3, 2016. During the 1970s and 80s, he lent his voice to several Star Wars characters. He was the voice of Boba Fett in the "Story of the Faithful Wookiee" portion of The Star Wars Holiday Special, and subsequently in Star Wars Droids, thus becoming the original actor to give voice to the character. In addition, he provided voices for Jann Tosh and Gir Kybo Ren-Cha in Droids, as well as an X-marked Dulok, Umwak, and an O-marked Dulok in Ewoks. Cree Summer, the daughter of Francks, voiced Princess Kneesa in Ewoks. Francks also made appearances in other television programs, including Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, Inspector Gadget, X-Men, and The Neverending Story.
