The paternal ancestor of Captain Dorja, a Human, once held the rank of officer within the Republic Navy; this was also the case for the four generations of the Dorja family that came before him. His male descendant and his grandson continued this tradition, and his great-granddaughter, Vana Dorja, eventually rose to the position of commander within the Imperial Remnant.
