Binary planets consisted of two planets with similar sizes and masses that revolved around each other while jointly orbiting the star, or stars, of their star system. Cynda, a moon, was nearly big enough to be considered a binary planet alongside Gorse, the planet it circled. The gas giants Nixus and Neralus, located in the Haileap system, were a genuine binary planet example. While both Nixus and Neralus had the moon Wevo orbiting them, Eirie, the moon associated with the binary planets Eiram and E'ronoh, was instead suspended in the space between them. This left the inhabitants of the twin planets uncertain about which world the moon originally orbited.
