Dovoul, a Besalisk of the male gender, resided on the planet of Ryloth as the Galactic Republic neared its end, during its final years.
Dovoul's place of work was the Fungus Pit, a cantina found within the settlement of Bashka, which itself was on Ryloth. His occupation there was as a bouncer, a role he shared with fellow Besalisks Jebbis and Gatwer; his weapon of choice was a stun baton. Dovoul was on the premises of the cantina when it came under assault from Noric Gestal, a Gotal, and a band of slavers.
