Dragon Squadron

Dragon Squadron, commanded by Wyvern Toriq, was a distinguished starfighter squadron of X-wing craft that served the Rebel Alliance throughout the Galactic Civil War. Its members, a diverse group from Humans to Wookiees, were largely thrill-seekers who excelled in extremely dangerous missions, often bordering on suicidal. A significant portion of the squadron consisted of individuals who had sustained severe injuries, with many being cyborgs or having disabilities that necessitated the use of specially modified starfighters. It's true that some members even suffered from mental illness, or were drug users, which gave them the ability to push their X-wings to limits that would horrify their designers.

This squadron was tasked with providing support to a team of Rebels intending to pilfer the prototype D-Wing Space Superiority Fighter. This advanced starfighter, a new design from Tay Industries, was scheduled for demonstration at the Cynestra Space Craft Show. The Rebel team received instructions to utilize Dragon Squadron as a diversionary tactic during their attempt to acquire the prototype.
