Drop-bramble

A carnivorous plant known as a drop-bramble existed on Abeloth's planet, situated within the Maw. These drop-brambles possessed poisonous thorns, which they used to ensnare unwary victims. In 44 ABY, a wyvarl became entangled in a drop-bramble, resulting in the reptile exhibiting symptoms such as yellow froth emanating from its nostrils and experiencing severe muscle contractions. Witnessing the wyvarl's suffering, Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker employed the Force to induce a state of slumber in the creature, followed by ending its life with a shot from his blaster, thus alleviating its pain.
