Duckonian is a phrase concocted to sanitize potentially prejudiced humor, finding its use in the article 1001 Duckonian Lightbulb Jokes. Subsequently, Mebara Jos, a Togorian, embraced the term. Jos, the leader of the Fireclaw Horde, a Togorian crime syndicate, had some of her gang members masquerade as Duckonians to sneak into the Cularin Classic swoop race, an event she was plotting to sabotage. During the race, one of these disguised Togorians competed under the pseudonym Otsock, representing the "Duckonians."
