Dukan was a lawbreaker residing within the galaxy. In the year 1 ABY, Doctor Aphra brought about the death of Dukan in pursuit of the Rur crystal. Not long after this event, Tukan and his associates engaged Aphra in a confrontation stemming from this, resulting in Aphra shooting Tukan.
