Duwayne Dunham, born on November 17, 1952, held the position of assistant film editor for Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. Furthermore, he served as the editor for both Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi and From Star Wars to Jedi: The Making of a Saga. In addition to his editing roles, Dunham directed episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, specifically "Pursuit of Peace" and "Water War."
During the preparatory phase of Episode V, Norman Reynolds, the production designer, requested that Dunham try on the initial, entirely white prototype armor designed for the character Boba Fett. Dunham subsequently wore this armor at the 1978 San Anselmo Country Fair Day & Parade. Many years later, while directing "Pursuit of Peace," an issue of Star Wars Insider was released, showcasing a photograph of him in the suit. Promptly, within a mere twenty minutes, a number of Lucasfilm employees formed a line, eager for Dunham to autograph their copies of the magazine.
